Panama

Finally a surfside residence
It was a long time coming – 5 months 16 days since leaving Scotland before I arrived at my first surf destination. It had been quite a journey. Happy to arrive but sad to leave behind the first leg of the no planes journey.

Santa Catalina, my first port of call. Other than the point break being crowded with pro's and the beach break being poor quality this was surfer's paradise from the word go.

RURAL Panama, a bar with happy hour and an infrequently/interestingly stocked local shop. Cheap as chips.
